Unplanned stoppages cost far more than planned servicing. Use these daily, weekly and periodic checks to keep crushing and screening equipment running.

Crushing equipment works in dust, vibration and shock loads every day. A short routine of planned checks prevents most breakdowns and extends the life of expensive wear parts. Always follow the manufacturer's manual for your machine; the list below is a general guide.
Before any inspection, stop the machine, isolate and lock out the power source, and make sure moving parts have come to rest. Never clear a blockage in a crusher chamber while the machine is running.
Keep the parts that stop production on site or quickly available: wear liners, screen media, belts, filters and common hydraulic hoses. Recording hours and wear rates makes ordering predictable.
